Masada El Fasab is
a Without *Maaroufa Babson stallion. Fasab will be an important
sire in the future for that corner of our program.
A Without *Maaroufa Babson is one that does not contain the prolific imported Babson mare *Maaroufa. All Babsons currently trace to *Fadl, *Bint Serra and *Bint Bint Sabbah. Only a handful do not also trace to *Maaroufa. We feel this is an interesting pedigree diversity that is important to preserve. Keeping this group will give more choices to future Babson breeders in creating more diverse pedigrees within the Straight Babson group. |

Fasab had been started under saddle and
enjoyed working cattle. He thought it was great fun to control a
cow!
In his twenties Fasab added a new marking. Like the Tin Man of Oz, he acquired a heart ... over his heart!!! Pardon his "Foster Grants" but he likes the sense of mystery they give him. |
