Masada El Fasab is a non-*Maaroufa Babson stallion. Fasab will be an important sire in the future for that corner of our program. |

Fasab is started under saddle and enjoys working cattle. A non-*Maaroufa Babson is one that does not contain the prolific imported Babson mare *Maaroufa. All Babsons currently trace to *Fadl, *Bint Serra and *Bint Bint Sabbah. Only a handful do not also trace to *Maaroufa. |

We feel this is an interesting pedigree diversity that is important to preserve. Keeping this group will give more choices to future Babson breeders in creating more diverse pedigrees within the Straight Babson group.
