Brenda, Sonny and Cher travel together out on the trail. They came by one Saturday morning this summer and I snapped this photo. Cher is calm and quiet out on the trail and enjoys her excursions whether into the desert or down the farm roads. The day is getting closer and closer until that their antique surrey appears with Cher proudly in the harness! | |

| This is Brenda's 1/2 Arabian mare Winkie Bex. Winkie is 33 years old this year (2004) She was 6 months old when she and her paternal half sister Sammy Bex came into Brenda's life. They were a matched pair, both dark bays. |
|
Both mares owned Brenda's heart for 30 years. Sadly Sammy went to greener pastures last year but Winkie is still going strong. Winkie is a reliable saddle horse as well as a steady carriage horse but most of all she is Brenda's best friend. |
